January 11th ” Bed Bugs-The Science Behind Detection with Dogs”

Could your property be a candidate for bed bug canine inspections?  We will guide you through the science surrounding canine scent detection of bed bugs and how these specialized dogs should be cared for, trained, and audited to ensure accuracy and validity.  Shannon Sked, Entomologist and Manager of Specialty Services, along with K9 Handler Pete Mattiace with “Tess” and Joe Nick’s, of Joe Nick’s K9, will be exploring ed bug biology and management.  Join us as we conduct a live canine demonstration, showing the appropriate style of training of these specialized dogs.   

Join us on Wednesday, January 11th as we kick off 2017 with this exciting meeting.  The program will take place at the Wilshire Grand at 350 Pleasant Valley Way, West Orange, NJ and is sponsored by Capital Lending Corp.  The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with our Landlord Panel hosted by seasoned landlords sharing their experiences followed at 7:00 p.m. by a brief business meeting. The Legal Forum hosted by Ehrlich Petriello Gudin & Plaza will begin at 7:15p.m. Our featured panel will begin at 7:30p.m.

Attendance at this meeting is FREE for POA members, who are also encouraged to bring a guest with them at no charge. Super Stars are allowed to bring three non- members with them. Non-members can attend for a fee of $35, which is applicable to membership dues if they join within 30 days.
